Parasol dore

Amazing from the minute you walk in. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was great and a lot of food. The property had drivers tuk tuk and taxi that were very well priced.😍 It was a short walk to turtle point, great swimming and snorkelling. Some nice restaurants down the streets, we visited Good kitchen. 5min tuktuk to Hirikeyta, lots of places to watch the surfing and drink and eat.

The Parasol Dore is a little piece of paradise in Dickwella on a quite beach.

They have managed to create a modern and chic hotel. The rooms and terrace are beautiful.

We loved our 8 nights at Parasol Dore. The place is gorgeously designed and very clean and comfortable. The wonderful staff really made our stay special - especially Roshan who gave us a glimpse into real life in Sri Lanka. The beach at the hotel is brilliant for body boarding (whic our 13 year old loved), and in the next cove there is snorkeling and calmer waters for younger children. There are plenty of places to eat locally or just 5 or 10 mins tuktuk drive away - we enjoyed exploring the local food scene and preferred the Sri Lankan traditional foods over that geared towards tourists. Hiriketiya beach is 10-15 mins away by tuktuk - much busier there with lots of dining options for tourists. A big thank you to Jeremy, Julie and all the staff for a wonderful start to our holiday

Place was next to a 2 beaches, one for boogey boards and the other for snorkelling. Also, many good restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was big and tasty and Jeremy wasn’t lying when he told that they had an excellent coffee.

The setup was very cozy and comfortable. The hosts were welcoming. It was like home.

Loved the decor and feel of the place. Rooms were cool and very comfortable with lots of space. And of course the staff. So attentive and the breakfast was delicious. Really special place located on a quiet part of the beach away from the hustle and bustle.

Das Parasol Doré ist eine Top-Empfehlung! Das Hotel liegt abseits des Trubels mit einem eigenen Strandzugang zu einer sehr ruhigen Bucht. Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist wahnsinnig zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstück wird serviert und ist einfach der Wahnsinn. Es gibt einen riesigen Teller mit diversen Früchten gefolgt von Pancakes, Toast und Eierspeisen. Die Zimmer sind mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, so dass man sich auf Anhieb wohl fühlt. Die beiden Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit. Der Kleiderladen „Gambette“ ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt so tolle und fair produzierte Leinensachen. Das Hotel ist immer sehr sauber, was hier in Sri Lanka nicht selbstverstänlich ist. Wirklich eine Wohlfühloase!
