Location was excellent couldn't fault anything. We have recommended to friends

We had a really pleasant two night stay in the Salop room, which was spacious, quiet and very clean . The bed was comfy and the ensuite was super clean. It was a pleasant surprise to to be offered a choice of pillows and robes were left for our use. We were kindly left many snacks and choices of teas and coffee along with water left in the fridge. Thank you, they were put to good use on our walks! Information left in the room was very useful from info on places to eat in Dolgellau to places of interest and detailed notes on a variety of local walks. There was no breakfast available but that was not a problem as there are plenty of places in Dolgellau to eat. We’d happily return if looking to stay in Dolgellau again. Diolch yn fawr.

We had the Salop room which was a lovely size, with a very comfortable bed. It was also quiet and peaceful. The bathroom was great and Ian and Alun had provided lovely white fluffy towels and dressing gowns, great after a days cycling. We will come back.

Perfect location for hiking up Cadair Idris! The property was a stone's throw away from some great places to eat and drink; the room itself exceeded my expectations, great value for money, it was exceptionally clean, and had everything you could need. I particularly appreciated the small touches with snacks and fresh milk.

Good location and perfect to get to Coed-y-Brenin. Very clean room and bathroom. Good amenities and the bed was comfy.
