great but a shame there was no breakfast

Great location. Really easy check in and check out process. Really comfy bed and choice of pillows. Lovely shower and soft fluffy towels. Host very easy to contact and quick responses. Lots of helpful local information available in the room. Limited Free parking right outside if there are any spaces as is first come first served.

No breakfast! This is made very clear on the information and booking details but a ‘paper bag breakfast’ of a croissant/fruit/yoghurt or similar would be very welcome for the price of the room. Getting a parking space outside is hit and miss. We got lucky this time but had to park a few minutes away when we stayed here last year.

Alun & Ian were very welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean, well presented, and there were plenty of complementary snacks and drinks which we really appreciated. The location was perfect for our weekend plans, and there was a very thoughtful folder in our room with lots of information about the local area.

The only minor niggle was that the water pressure in the shower was a little low. It really wasn't a major issue though, and it certainly wouldn't put us off staying at Afallon again.

Very comfortable and well appointed room. Even had the same pod coffee machine as we have at home. Contacted by the hosts pre-stay to ask what our preferred pillow firmness was, along with any allergies, to allow them to tailor in-room milk/cookies. That kind I’d detail is unheard of. The lack of breakfast is a plus for us…no getting up early to sit in a silent room with strangers. Plenty of breakfast options in the village, anyhow.

Nothing to dislike.

Clean. Comfortable. Little extras - crisps/coffee machine etc I was only around for an evening but would come back and stay again and explore the town.

Warm, comfortable and very stylish. The townhouse has a feel good factor and lots of nice touches. It has been decorated and furnished to a very high standard. I had a warm welcome and introduction. Just a short walk from the shops, cafe’s, bank and ‘Y Siamas’ music venue. I’d love to stay there again.

I liked it all.
