Minto House

Everything we needed as we were out and about 90% of the time and really just needed a place to sleep and refresh. Minto house was the perfect place for us on this trip. Also a short walk down Minto street on the right hand side going towards Edinburgh you will find the best breakfast for $665 pound at a place called Picnic .

Great Guest house with a new spotless bathroom in a fantastic location. Easy check in and a bus directly outside the property makes it easy to get to from anywhere. Easy walking to nearest shops and minimarts as well as central Edinburgh which is probably approx 20 mins walk. Highly recommend this great little guest house.

Lovely big room with en-suite and handy kettle in room. Walking distance to city centre plus bus stops right outside. We arrived early but were able to check in much was handy. Really friendly owners.

My only issue was the pillows were really hard, but I guess that’s just down to personal preference.

Comfortable and cozy (does not mean small) room with bathroom. Comfortable double bed - slept well. Very friendly and helpful staff. Another advantage is the location - easy and quick access by public transport to the center or other areas (e.g. Portobello Beach); 15 min walk from Holyrood Park.

Too small tea cups ;), but I will admit right away that due to the good weather we were out of the hotel all day and did not have time to ask the hosts to change :)

The room was spacious and spotless, with a very comfortable bed. The guest house is conveniently located next to a bus stop and about a 25-minute walk from the city center.

I have nothing to criticise—everything met or exceeded my expectations.

I like the small hotel with a soul. The area is really quiet. The bed was very comfortable and big enough. The room was cozy and warm. I slept very well. I really enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend. Thank so much for hotel crew for everything.

It was clean and comfortable. Nadia was very caring!
