Minto House

Nadia and Balla were truly wonderful hosts. We have travelled a lot and they were outstanding in this regard. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a particularly high ceiling in the bedroom. If we ever get the chance to go back to Edinburgh this is where we would stay! Very handy for transport.

The room was gorgeous and the bed was extremely comfortable

The shower wasn’t great as there was no pressure and the temperature was either too hot or too cold

The place is cold. The heaters is not working well. Most of the time, the place is not heated . The bathroom is cold.

The location and the price are unbeatable.

It was a little cold in the room for me and the water pressure in the shower was very low

The staff was extremely friendly, everything was clean and comfortable! The house is a bit outside of the centre which we knew beforehand but there was a bus stop right infront of the house! The shower and toilet were outside the room and right next to another room which was a bit inconvenient but not too bad.

1. Difficult to find someone to talk to. 2. Location is so off town despite the description. 3. Water is either too hot or too cold. 4. Not ideal for family. They should have that description on their page or on booking.com 5. I forfeited my money and went elsewhere as my wife and kids refused to stay and they were not even willing to compensate us with anything.
