Beautiful location and surroundings, you can enjoy your coffee with monkeys playing in the trees nearby! The staff were always friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The meals were also delicious and prepared with care. Would visit again!

We had such a lovely server (Vimukthi) who was really knowledgeable and had great English, explained a lot to us about Sri Lanka and was really sweet. The room was really nice, and so was the bathroom. Views are amazing and the photos don’t do it justice, we were really happy staying here. Food was really nice too. It’s a bit of a drive to the top in a tuk tuk (taxis can make it too) but it’s worth it. They also arrange activities for you as we went to Lipton’s seat.

The view is amazing!!! Enjoying this view from the infinity pool or the terrace is absolutely amazing. There is much peace there. Absolutely amazing. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. Food was very good as well. Please make sure you enjoy your breakfast on the terrace, and with the view. Amazing!

Room was bit difficult. Huge room, clean for sure!, but with an extra single bed, a picnic table and a kitchen, it was not a real hotel room. Bathroom is a bit outdated.

This place was the highlight of my mini moon. I’ve never been to such a cool secluded place. I think we got lucky to have found this. All Ella options were blah but this one stood out. It’s the most unique personalised experience one can get. Every staff welcomes you with a warm smile, sweet words and a heart of gold. The interior is lavish, food scrumptious and hospitality stole our heart. They have a personal chef that’s really talented. The amenities are lovely. There’s good network and Wi-Fi. An infinity pool and the cute hammocks. A cool fine dining space and a huge living room. You can hear the birds chirp, the waterfall and the trees whistling. Also, bonus they have a private waterfall where you can swim along with your partner or group! I mean what else do you need? The view is stunning. I would highly recommend this stay if you’re coming with family or as a couple. The staff member Raj is the warmest. His smile makes you want to come back to this place. The staff is hardworking and warm. It’s one of my favourite 2 days at Sri Lanka. It’s a thrilling experience

The location has a mind blowing view and Raj was brilliant showing us all the spice and local plants/trees and taking us to a swimming/bathing spot with waterfalls. A lovely guy.

Transport was expensive - service was hit and miss, rooms tired.

We had a truly wonderful time staying here and absolutely loved our experience from start to finish. One of the things we enjoyed the most was how flexible breakfast was – you could enjoy it at your own pace, and on top of that, it was simply excellent every single day. The accommodation is extremely quiet and peaceful. To be fully transparent: at first, we thought it was located directly in Ella, but it is actually about 1.5 hours away by tuk-tuk. However, we ended up enjoying this even more because of exactly that. Being a bit further away from Ella meant complete tranquility, lots of nature, and the perfect place to really arrive, slow down, and start our vacation in the best possible way. The staff is exceptionally well trained and makes you feel genuinely taken care of at all times. A special thank you to Anuradha and Raj, who were both incredibly kind, attentive, and warm – their hospitality truly made a difference. We would also like to compliment the owner for the great work and the care that clearly goes into running this place. Another highlight is how private the accommodation feels. Besides the room we stayed in, there are only three other rooms in the house, which makes it feel as if you have the place almost entirely to yourself. It’s very intimate, calm, and personal. One thing to keep in mind is that the climate here is a bit cooler and less sunny compared to the south of Sri Lanka. For us, this was actually a plus – the views are beautiful, and the temperatures are very pleasant. If you’re active, we highly recommend doing the hike to the waterfall about 11 km away. Along the way, you’ll pass many small, charming local shops, and the people in this area are incredibly friendly – even more so than what we experienced in the south. All in all: 10 out of 10. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone considering a stay here.
