Crazy Camel Hotel & Safari

Breakfast awsome rooms r ok not much big and furnished but it’s good for couple or singles nice location near by visiting places

The location of the hotel could not have been better, with the Forte clearly visible and almost close enough to touch from the roof and bedroom, with the inexpensive cost of the room complementing this. Super friendly staff, with great communication on site and before we arrived with regards to planned road trips and onward travel. Close to the main vibe of the city.

We accidentally booked a room with no air conditioning which made our say during 40oc days quite unpleasant at times, and were unaware until check out that the hotel had air conditioned rooms available 😕 Besides this the rooms where very basic and the bathroom had no hot water and old loose fittings.

A home far from home ... and delicious food!

The atmosphere was really nice and chilled. The common area is a nice place to relax and you can order good food. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Our private room was clean and everything good. Highly recommended.

Excellent location a short walk to the fort, hevalis and lake. Very clean with lovely rooftop area to socialize with other guests. Delicious meals from the extensive menu. I really enjoyed my overnight Camel Safari.

Great host, so welcoming and friendly. We had late train and we could hang out, after check out. It was clean and excellent value. Very good position. 20 minutes walking from train station and 5 minutes from the fort. I would stay here again

Relaxed place to stay. In walking distance to the fort. Friendly host. The camel safaris that they offer are good and vist really untouristy places (but you won't see sand dunes).

There are good and not so good rooms. My room was window-less and quite noisy.

The hostel is cute. Beds are nice, rooftop is great and the food is good. They picked us up at 5am in the morning which was great. Was definitely a solid 7 but unfortunately I gave a 6 because of the desert safari

No toiletpapier in the bathroom (neither after asking) and we did the dessert tour with them but we would NOT recommend it. We got promised quite a few stops and a night in the desert. We drove for 2.5 hours on a camel (where we only stopped at one oasis), we were at the lunch spot for 4.5 hours (..?!) and drove another hour until a dune. The food was great and the guides were nice but we expected more for this price and what was promised. No information about places, a campfire or more Village stops. Very disappointing. Didn't get offered a discount or something to compensate
