Riad des remparts Marrakech

This hotel is in a great location to explore the city. It's very well priced, spacious and comfortable.

On the first night they clearly hadn't read the booking information in detail and didn't realize that we had booked two rooms. They found us a second room, which I think was the porter's room.

Geen airco, dit maakt de kamer erg warm en benauwd. De badkamer is netjes maar wel oud en wij hadden zelf 0 bereik of wifi in de kamer. Het is ook erg gehorig, wij sliepen op de beneden verdieping en konden andere gasten snachts terug horen komen.

La comida estaba regular, no tenían agua para la cena y está lejos del centro y es complicado encontrarlo porque no pone el nombre del riad en la puerta

Quelques points de finitions manquants sur l'électricité et la distribution hydraulique, surtout esthétique!

Me cambiaron a otro Riad que no reunía las mismas condiciones. Muy mala experiencia

The staff was absolutely fantastic, breakfast was delicious, and Ahmed was the real gem of our stay: always helpful, kind and attentive

The structure definetely needs improvement. Our room had no real windows, was dark, humid and smelled of mold. Air conditioning didn’t work properly either

The Room

I arrived at 16:00 and had a tour scheduled for 16:20. I had to wait 10 minutes for the receptionist to show up. When he finally did, instead of apologizing for being late, he started yelling at me: “At what time is your tour and at what time are you coming?” – completely unprofessional and inappropriate. I just wanted to change quickly and go, but he was aggressive and slammed the door while showing me the room. Later, I asked for help booking a taxi to the airport. He responded in a patronizing tone, demanding to see my phone and the message from the taxi service. When I explained that I had spoken on the phone instead, he raised his voice again and insisted I bring him my phone. I felt completely disrespected and even scared. When I returned in the evening and asked if the taxi was confirmed, he pointed aggressively and told me to go to my room because the taxi was already waiting – again, no kindness, no professionalism. This man showed no accountability for being late, instead blaming me, a female guest. Whether it’s due to cultural or personal reasons, his treatment of me was absolutely unacceptable. I would never stay at this hotel again. If he treated guests like this in Western Europe, he would be immediately dismissed. He did not tell me anything about the breakfast which was included- i had to look for the service by
