Spotless clean high standard..

Unfortunately there was a issue with the heating.. very cold.. iam in recovery from stage 4 cancer my immune is low and feel the cold.. saying that I work in the building Trade over 40 years .. and know the issues that can arise in lettings /hotels..regards.. Shaun..

It was really nice and cosy was better then I expect tbf, the blue light in room was nice too,The takeaways around are abundant and a large amount of choice

Nothing really the place was a lot better then we expected to start with

"Very steep stairs with no bannister"

No tea making facilities in the room these were down two flights of stairs. Overall the property was clean and fresh but we had other serious concerns.

I was advised that details of how to enter the property would be sent 12 hours before arrival but this did not happen. Eventually told to send two photograph proofs of identity and entry details would be sent one hour before the room became available at 3pm. Despite advising we were two 83 year olds we were allocated a room at the top of two flights of narrow steep stairs which frankly were dangerous and unsafe. On the walls were battens which I assume should have had bannister rails but there were none. There was no fire safety information and we were worried if there was a fire we could have been trapped with no way of escaping.

The location was great for us. The room as clean, comfortable and large.

The stairs are very steep and there is no handrail. There is a wooden plinth on the wall to attach a handrail to so there’s really no excuse for not having one. Coming down these without a suitcase was a little precarious, let alone with one.

"A average place to stay for the night"

A modern room , bed was comfortable and it was good you could park just across the road

The stairs up to the room are very steep , shower didn’t drain very well , only one towel but the owner quickly rectified it . Could do with a full length mirror and a light near the dressing table
