Guest house Babaka

Great owners, very good food, very comfortable place!

The location is quite far from the centre (important up hill) but this is why its a quiet area. The room was clean.

Comminication is difficult given that they do not sepeak english. Kitchen was dirty so we could not use it when we arrived. Breakfast was poor and we felt like it was leftovers from their dinner. We had not got toilet paper but we asked them and they came inmediately.

The hosts Gela and Silvia were incredible. They were genuinely caring for their guests and provided a truly authentic stay and a glimpse into Georgian hospitality. Silvia’s cooking skills are second to none and shouldn’t be missed. She makes the BEST Kinkhali and most of her dishes have ingredients from their own garden. Delicious!!

The room was lovely and clean, the hosts are so kind and warm. We had an amazing stay here!

The owners are lovely people doing there utmost best to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The owner took us on a day trip to several wine cellars and tastings! We also had a dinner at the guest house which we really liked a lot!

Nice rooms and nice balcony. Good breakfast. We even had dinner at the guesthouse one of the nights, which was really nice! Good value for the price.

Not really a problem, but note that there is no sign by the entrance/door - if you use a map you'll find it :).

Gela welcomed us with a Glas of his homemade wine. The next day he took us on a tour through some wineries, the nearby monastery and a wine themed museum. Great day! The barbecue and salads at night were also delicious and accompanied by more of Gela’s homemade wine and chacha.

Everything great. It was just a little hard to find, since there was no sign outside. It’s the new looking wooden door beside the stone brick wall. ;)

Both Geale and Sylvia were absolutely brilliant. We had a feeling that we stayed with our own parents and in our own home. They treated right royally. We can’t forget both of them. They will be in our hearts of ever.
