Happiness Resort Sukhothai

The owner is delightful and so happy to help with lending bikes, providing maps and booking excursions. Also, a lovely warm welcome from the dog when I came home. The setting is idyllic - each chalet is surrounded by well tended gardens and the resort is away from my main town down a country road near some of the smaller temples.

Lovely bungalows, quiet and surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. Playing with the friendly cute dog Panda brings me a lot of fun. Nice and patient boss Ms. Namkhang, who began to answer my questions online before we checked in. And gave useful information about the park and the buses after we‘d checked in. Bicycle Rented and TuTu Car Catching services are available. I'll come again if I have the chance.

Amazing accomodation. The women who runs it is incredibly sweet. Great location. It is very close to the historical park but in a very slilent street

It was a lovely stay in the middle of nature! The staff was very friendly and Panda the dog always made sure we returned to our bungalow safely after we came back. You can have dinner and breakfast there and the food is lovely! Also you can rent bikes which makes it very easy to go around Sukhothai. The bungalows had everything we needed.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the pillow very hard.

This property was clean and tidy with a beautiful atmosphere. The hostess was incredible and looked after us so well. Highly recommend this place.

Cold shower

We had a very pleasant stay at this resort. The host took the initiative to contact us prior to our arrival and provided excellent recommendations for a late dinner in the nearby area. What we liked most was the tranquility of the resort. The landscaping and design allowed us to immerse ourselves in nature and truly relax. The location is also convenient, as it took us only about 5-8 minutes to drive to the Historical Park.

The water pressure of the shower hose was a bit weak but generally acceptable.

Beautiful place and location. Would have liked to stay at resort itself longer but feel we managed to see everything we wanted to in one long day. Host is super friendly and helpful. We were allowed to leave our bags until 7/8pm on our leaving day while we hired bikes (80Baht for 24 hours) to go around historic site. Map provided with suggested extras sights on the way and useful shops etc. Also you can add on breakfast or dinner options ordered in advance from menu.

Having to leave Just be warned hires bikes are not the type with gears or suspension so ladies in particular are likely to get saddle sore using for full day. They are the same style bikes as available nearer site though.

This is a great little place run by a fantastic lady, a peaceful place outside of the main town. I loved her dog Panda. Simple but clean rooms and clean basic bathrooms. Don’t expect TVs or pools with swim up bars. Get a scooter to get you around.

for the price there’s not much to not like.
