Ceylon Safari Cottage

Size and comfort of rooms, along with the price, location to the national park and the safari run by the family that own the property. As very limited options to eat dinner, the family can provide if you purchase , it was delicious and worth it. The safari ( we did half day morning) was beyond expectation with sightings of animals and the friendly owners that drove us. They also provided a boxed breakfast when we first stopped, and when we finished iced towels!

Emplacement parfait à l’entrée du parc d’Uda walawe. Chambre spacieuse, douche chaude. Nous avons organisé le safari avec l’hébergement et c’était parfait. Dîner proposé très copieux

Would not recommend the dinner and the safari with the hotel. Dinner was very large for one person and not incredibly good as well, I could not eat it all so I had to waste food… The safari was organized by the hotel, on time etc and the driver was the owner of the hotel (or at least someone living in the hotel) and was a bit strange during the safari, he yelled at other cars for them to move while everyone was watching a group of elephants with a baby. I told him to stop yelling and that we will just wait our time to get closer, but he just kept going. Also at the end of the safari, he came very very close to two elephants, the elephants then started to look for things to eat within the car and one took a plastic (I think there were some cakes inside the plastic) and ate everything. The driver was just yelling again and we left. Was super sad to see, and I did not approve at all this behavior as he should not have came that close.

everything was good and we felt really comfortable! they organized the safari for us and it was so cool! also making sure we have enough food during and after the safari was guaranteed and everything was so delicious as well! we had a really good time there :)

Mycket trevlig o hjälpsam personal. Familjen lagade mycket god middag till oss när vi anlände på kvällen. Ägaren var också en utmärkt guide på safari

Lite krångligt med wifi

Right next to the safari park (not quite the same location as on the Google maps it's straight on from the safari exit 2 min drive) and the supper was delicious. We didn't book a safari with them as we had already done one but this was no issue rather than cancelling on the day like our previous booking. Room was spotless and very good AC.

No hot water but not a problem as we were hot after the safari.
