Nature House

Nous avons loué 2 chambres très propres et au calme. Salle de bain et douche très bien. Restaurant sur place au top ( une mention spéciale pour les excellentes aubergines ) ; on a même eu de la glace en dessert. Personnel charmant qui a attendu notre retour de safari pour nous préparer notre délicieux petit déjeuner ! La piscine était géniale ( grande et avec des transats ). Notre meilleur séjour au Sri Lanka !

The staff were incredible, they couldn’t do enough for us and made our stay! Beautiful hotel, pool and delicious food.

Tout était parfait: le choix des détails, la qualité des matériaux, la piscine magnifique, le confort de la literie, le calme du lieu, un excellent petit déjeuner et dîner buffet (délicieux curry de mangue que nous n’avons mangé qu’ici par exemple!). Mais surtout : la gentillesse et le professionnalisme des équipes. Vous pouvez leur faire confiance à 100% pour l’organisation du safari, et aussi pour tous vos déplacements au Sri-Lanka. Encore merci pour tout !

Rooms were spacious with balconies overlooking a forest setting with nice bird song. Pool was very clean. Host is delightful, genuinely interested in getting to know his guests and speaks fluent English & German. We booked our safari directly with Nature House.

Stunning property with very nice pool, relaxing vibe. The room was great, mosquito net, fan and AC. Buffet dinner was delicious. Staff very nice and helpful. The Safari they arranged was really good, very knowledgeable guide, we’ve seen plenty of Elephants but also many other species.

Nothing really. One thing to note though is that there is no buffet if there’s not enough guests (this was likely due to the current travel disruption around the world), however Sun Rich home restaurant is nearby and it is excellent!

Everything was excellent. The hotel has its own safari jeep and the driver was very good at spotting animals. The hotel included a breakfast and lunch with the safari. Lovely comfortable bed and pillows. Swimming pool clean and great to relax in. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and highly recommended!

All staff were super helpful and friendly. It’s the perfect base for any Safari visit. Whilst having our breakfast we saw loads of beautiful birds and the owner was going into the detail/name/type of birds. Lovely personal touches.

My goodness. Such a beautiful place. And not to mention, the splendid hosts! The place was just remarkable, from the rooms to the pool to the dining. Simply amazing! Highly recommended to stay here at Udawalawe.
