Lovely large rooms. Near to elephant transit house and udawalawa park. Excellent driver who acted as a guide for our morning safari. Delicious supper and breakfast. Attentive employees. Lovely proper swimming pool. Peaceful as set back from the main road.

Perhaps a few more sun beds with umbrellas if the hotel is full

Lovely place with very clean and cozy rooms. Amazing and very friendly service. The owner and his family are super friendly and arrange everything you need for reasonable prices.

Všetko bolo perfektné!Nie je nič čo by sa nám nepáčilo.Bolo tam krásne v peknej lokalite v prírode.Tichá lokalita,kde počujete len zvuky vetra a vtákov.Personal bol na top úrovni,izby krásne čisté.Bazen veľký s veľkým množstvom ležadiel.Jedlo tiež chutné a majiteľ veľmi priateľský a nápomocný.Nedaleko ubytovania sme sa boli v podvečer prejsť a pri jazere bolo vidieť aj slony a pekný západ slnka.Cesta pešo trvala približne 15 minút.Ubytovanie ponúka safari a tiež má autá k dispozícii za dobre ceny k presunu na akékoľvek miesto.Je to úžasné miesto ktoré odporúčam všetkým!❤️❤️❤️

An amazing stay with a lovely host with great stories!! You could tell how much care and love goes into the property. So much wild life flying around to sit and enjoy. We organised our safari tour through the hotel and I would highly recommend. Our driver was excellent, kind and so knowledgeable of the park and all the animals. I would also HIGHLY recommend having dinner and breakfast at the hotel it was very yummy.

Beautiful, stunning and relaxing place to stay, by far our favourite place to have stayed on this holiday! The staff are wonderful, very helpful and have organised drivers, tuk tuks and two safaris which leave from the hotel (their own jeeps). The food served was also incredible. Even the short drive to the safari shouldn’t be missed as it goes past jungle and a huge lake, truly stunning. We sat by the pool watching birds, monkeys, squirrels, even the odd lizard. A truly magical place to stop, take a breath and recharge. The elephant orphanage is just up the road where you can go pay to watch them be fed. Unlike other places these orphans are genuine (not bred in captivity for tourism) and they are released back into the jungle when big enough. The Elephant Transit project is ethical, no touching, no bathing,no chains, just good people saving baby elephants.

Everything about this place is absolutely perfect

We stayed for 2 nights and it was amazing, everything was perfect and spotlessly clean. The bedroom was spacious and well equipt. Thlak organised a safari for us from the hotel and it worked seamlessly and was excellent value for money. Great breakfast and buffet dinner. The staff were lovely and made our stay extremely enjoyable. It was nice to relax in the pool. I can say without a doubt this was definitely our best choice of accommodation in Sri Lanka

Everything was perfect.

Hotel owner worked 15 years in a German run Hotel and it shows. There is much attention to detail thoughtfully implemented, facilities clean and well maintained. The location blends seamlessly into nature, allowing you to feel like you are in the national park while on your balcony hammock. We used the from the Hotel offered Safari Service and received a private driver and Jeep just for the two of us at 10.000 LKR and had a wonderful time. Note that in addition you need to pay park entrance fee plus tax (22.500 LKR for two) but also here the Hotel gave us the correct estimate (as they can't charge the park entrance fee). We highly recommend you to choose this Hotel
