Lavendra Guset House

The hospitality and kindness of the family was really touching. The house is very clean and brand new , you get a large room and large bathroom and there is a living room with sofa and dining table. The place was just 5 minutes walk to the adams peak trail head. Near the house there are a few fancy and local restaurants with mostly foreign tourist. I had , dinner ,breakfast and lunch with the family and the food was so delicious and in a large portion. Also the bus from maskeliya stops very close to the house frequently throughout the day.There is also a bus to colombo at 5.30 am from there which the family even walked me to and i am so grateful to them. This is the perfect and calm place to spend a few days while you are climbing the adams peak

Near Adam’s peak

This hostel is run by a 17-18 year old girl and she pays very well. I reached the hostel at 8 in the night with the guests and she was waiting for me just like our mother or sister would do at home. Thank u ☺️ Himanshi ❤️

The host welcomed me at the bus station. The rooms were very clean and I spent a pleasant night. The family is friendly and their treatment is high-class. The host gave me a rain jacket and an umbrella to protect me from the rain. I will definitely return to this place... The place is run by a respectable and helpful family...

Perfect location for the night before climbing Siri Pada. The staff is very kind, on top of your needs. Fabulous breakfast, what everyone will expect once you return from quite a strenuous climb. Overall peaceful experience. All the best!

Good location, close to centre of town and the trail head. Everything in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. We were offered tea or coffee at arrival. Clean rooms with mosquito netting. They served a great breakfast in the morning when we came down from the hike.

The only negative was that there was a smell at the bathroom.

Great location, right in town with parking for the rented tuktuk. The host was kind.

There was a strong smell from our bathroom, so we ended up hanging out on the couches a bunch instead of in the room.

Kind and helpful host. Clean, cozy, silent room. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Flexible breakfast time (I walked up to Sri Pada at night). Really close to the Sri Pada starting point.
