Prepare for the fact that you will be greeted in this place not because of what kind of person you are, but because of what color your skin color is and what country you are from... I don't recommend it to anyone...

Warmest shower I had in all Sri Lanka and good wifi. Super friendly host who showed me around. Breakfast was superb.

Nothing to complain about. Maybe AC during hot days but it was fine without.

When arriving in the village.. someone waited for us and wanted to help us guide to the stay. Eventually,. We found out it was our host!.. incredibly friendly and helpful in everything! Rooms are good, Oke shower and a very nice breakfast after the hike! -

We could here some people coming in late at night which interrupted our short sleep,. But most of the hotels/stays are not quiet so can’t blame it on this stay!

Large clean rooms with large bathrooms! Nice hot pressure water with a large bar of soap provided. Super friendly and helpful host who can answer any questions about hiking Sri Pada and transport logistics after. So so close to the start of the Sri Pada trail head. Delicious Sri Lankan and western breakfasts. Close to everything you need. Love the cute cat and fishes! I’m glad we stayed in Dalhousie, has a festive vibe because of the pilgrimage.

breakfast is delicious. It is more than our expectations. rooms are spotless.

Hosts are so amazing! I spent a night there before sunrise hike and for the hike there was packages food waiting for me outside at 3am, then after coming they served me HUGE delicious breakfast. Room is very spacious and clean, water during shower is boiling hot. 2min walking to the entrance of the trail. Would stay here again for sure!
