INBillie is the G.O.A.T. You come to hakuna matata as guests but leave as friends. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have all the amenities as advertised. However, the real charm is Billie, the host who is your safari guide, chef and one stop conceirge for all things arugam. He goes above and beyond to help arrange all activities for you and made our stay unforgettable.
We were too early to enjoy the newly constructed rooms on the property which look super comfy and tasteful.
GBBillie's hospitality is genuinely fantastic. He'd organise activities and is a fun fella to hang out with. The property is really close to the beach and to all the restaurants and shops. I'll definitely be back!

BEThe place ist just a few stars away from the beach, in a lively area. It’s easy to get there and there are numerous cafes and restaurants around. I really enjoyed our little terrace with some of the comfiest chairs I have ever sat on. Billie is very friendly and helpful.
From all of the accommodation we had during our trip, this was our least favourite unfortunately. We had much cheaper ones that were higher quality for a lower price and also had better services (e.g. free water, snacks, daily cleaning etc.) For a lot of people the easy-going community vibe might be perfect, it was just not our cup of tea. The garden is pretty but was largely a construction side during our stay. Which made it uncomfortable to stay there. Also there is a cafe next door that plays very loud Music in the morning.
FRWe had a really good stay at Hakuna Matata thanks to our host who went above and beyond to give us a great experience of Arugambay !
Room was a little small but new rooms are being refurbished and opening soon.

NZVery relaxed . Our room was clean and staff were friendly and helpful organising transport and game park tour. Location excellent close to the beach , breaky was excellent and catered for gf diet also.Very close to great places to eat . Fantastic coffee directly opposite.

ATSuper netter Gastgeber, Billie macht den Aufenthalt zu einem wahren Erlebnis. Vor allem die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten (Scooter-Safari etc.) mit ihm sind ein richtiges Highlight.
Ablageflächen beziehungsweise Möglichkeiten zum Aufhängen von Handtüchern wären noch toll.
