Amazing view, very stylish cabins. Wonderful hiking area, safe river to swim in. Nice hosts.

A better light in the room would be great.

What a wonderful place! The tranquility, the peacefulness, the nature and the stars at night - we loved every bit of it!

What a fantastic place, maybe the best place we have stayed in Southafrica. You can sit all day and Fall into trance over the view from the cottages. Magical. The cottages are comfortable and so well designed that you think you are in a classy hotel, but with personality. And a perfect personal service fron Gondwyn. And then all the things you can do, swim in the river, padle the canoe/kayak for free or take beautifull walks. Or just sit on the veranda and enjoy. Highly recommended. We were there for 5 days. A beautiful place to relax for a view days. The house offers everything you need. We enjoyed our 2 nights stay very much.

River View Cottage is a gem. The attention to detail to ensure guests are comfortable is very special. The views from the cottage is spectacular. We did the Steering Kloof hike and it was like walking in a fairytale world. We stayed three nights, should have stayed four. It is a place that soothes the soul.

My own preference would be a bigger bed, but definitely not a deal breaker.

What a beautiful place. Exactly what we were looking for. Amazing views, birdlife and flora, both from the comfort of the porch and on the hikes.
