The bed was comfortable and a good size, the room was spacious and clean. Well located for shops etc.

The shower dripped a bit. That was the only thing. I put the shower head on the floor to stop the noise. A minor inconvenience.

"Quiet, convenient location - in need of a clean."

5.0

I was given a warm welcome by the owner. He quickly replaced a missing cable when I asked, so I could watch the telly. The bedding was comfortable, fresh & clean and I slept really well. The floors and bathroom were clean.

It's a brilliant house in a quiet & convenient location, it's just in need of a deep clean! The inside of the kitchen kettle & microwave need to be cleaned. A general dust would be appreciated too. Some easy fixes!

"Aceptable por el precio"

5.0

El precio era razonable

Las zonas comunes sucias y descuidadas, hacia mucho calor en la habitación y no tenias aire, el baño muy pequeño

"A disappointing stay"

3.0

Comfortable bed, good pillows, spacious room, but very basic furniture. The chess set and board would have been useful if I had someone to play with.

The hosts were non-existent. This was a private house converted into a guesthouse. Bathroom - The sink in the communal bathroom had no plug, making washing and shaving a long, laborious and extremely wasteful activity (don't they know there is a water shortage?). The shower head had a mind of its own and drooped permanently (useful for keeping the wall clean.). The communal toothmug was quite unsavoury and the liquid soap lived up to its name - it was extremely watery. It was very sad that one of the guests decided that the 'No Smoking' rule did not apply to the bathroom (s/he had had a crafty fag in there during the night) Bedroom - the room was VERY hot and only 1 of the 2 windows opened. A fan would have been really useful. The curtains were very thin (dawn was 5.30am) and the curtains caught on the curtain rail. Worst of all - the TV had been removed leaving an empty bracket and plug socket on the wall! Yes it was a cheap stay (£107 for 2 nights with no breakfast), but some of the basics were sadly lacking.

"This is what the pits looks like"

4.0

It was available

There's no parking. There's virtually no access. The stairs are narrow and the residents a mixture of people on benefits, awaiting asylum claims, and battered women needing refuge with their children. Let's say substances are not hard to find. And it's noisy.
