"Very pleasant people and room but dinner is available but no breakfast - not staying again."

The room was very good and bed excellent. Very pleasant ambiance.

No breakfast available. The shower is a recent conversion from a bath. Shower head was very faulty and sprayed in all directions. Hot and cold taps are at ankle level and very difficult to adjust for water temperature. The plumber who did this conversion is "stupid" - he/she did not understand the problems created!!!! No handrail in the shower is a problem waiting to happen. The left front leg of the fridge is missing - the fridge wobbles when used.

"A convenient place to stay overnight."

Friendly reception. Having a restaurant on site was convenient.

Shower water is scalding. Curtains in bedroom have to stay shut else no privacy.

We have driven past Richmond many times but this was the first time staying there, what a find! The Guesthouse is nice but 'Pat's Kitchen' is a superb restaurant, sitting under a 160 year old Grapevine full of fruit and been served some of the best food we have experienced in SA was totally unexpected. The bar is unique with horse saddle's for seat tops and featured the original feeding trough from 160 years ago. Pat and Len are very nice people, we look forward to returning.
