Beautiful view in an unbelievable setting. Very nice apartment with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was updated and was very clean. Very cool experience .

Struggled with communicating with the host about baggage. I know that I over packed, but dragging luggage and my old self up was too much and wanted to pay for service. It was unclear until the last minute if service was available. She did arrange service with a sweet older gentleman. It cost $20 one way. We paid him 60 dollars for both trips. We were not sure if we were going to able to drop our luggage when the train came in . We paid place to store our luggage, and we did not need this service, so we lost our money. It is a steep climb to the apartment. The air conditioning did not seem to work, but we opened the patio doore and had a wonderful ocean breeze. Beautiful experience but definitely requires some work and effort.

Be prepared... There are steps! However the steps lead you to a spectacular view above the bay and an amazing vantage point for the entire City

Steps... Did I say that? It was probably because I threw my back out earlier in the week and it was exasperated by the climb. The train station is tricky as the porters were hard to find and we took the train going the wrong direction...

Location was great!
