Lovely visit! Norwood House was nicest place we stayed on our 17 day visit to the UK and Ireland. Breakfast was wonderful, host was so kind and friendly

Breakfast was really nice, good quality bacon and sausage.

The bedroom could have been better, the ceiling was sloped and my husband kept bumping his head. This would not stop me staying again but I would ask for a different room.

"Great location and great stay when hiking through the Lakes"

Really good breakfast and super helpful host & hostess. The location is great as well.

The separate shower, although known in advance, was a bit of a let down. The room was fairly small with not that much storage space but enough for a one person hiking through the Lakes

"Right next to bus stop - Had a great stay and Wendy was always very helpful with ideas & suggestions"

All very good, excellent hosts, good filling breakfast, quiet location, comfy room and bed. And very well connected - just 60 metres from the main bus stop! The room could maybe benefit from a small table as I tended to use the floor.

My room (#1) was a bit hot with windows facing both south and west which open only at the bottom, so not easy to keep it cool on a sunny day.
