Brilliant place, well located, easy to do self-check in and out and extremely friendly and funny host. Would highly recommend this place!

It was perfect

The room was cozy, clean and quiet. John is amazing and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable and happy! In fact we're going back next time we're in scotland!

Genuinely everything. The room and en-suite were immaculately clean. The facilities were over and above what is generally expected. Just little extra details like real milk and a microwave/dishes/cutlery already supplied. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the instructions for the house were clear and concise.

Not a negative but just a point to be aware of - there is a flight of quite steep steps to the rooms.

The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable! John was a great host, very friendly and helpful, and contactable at all times, giving me numbers for local taxis before my stay and happily making changes to my booking for me. He even lent me some toothpaste when I realised I had forgotten to pack mine and didn't have time to run out for some before leaving for the wedding I was attending! Great value for money, well looked after rooms and a chatty host - a great spot to stay if you're passing through!

The location was ideal for me due to attending a wedding nearby. However, if you weren't staying there for a purpose, the location is a little out of the way from restaurants. That being said, there is a bakery nearby and a few takeaways, but probably not the best choice if you're looking for dining options.

Everything was perfect. Host, John, was also very welcoming.

The property was spotless and you can see the owner had thought about all the little things a traveller might need. Great communication from owner as well… we really enjoyed our stay.. thank you!!

The room was perfect: a little bit small, but very cosy and had all what you needed! The detail were particularly cured and comprehend a guide of the city! A shame that we stayed only one night, totally recommend!
