Scalabrini Accommodation

I like the overall hotel environment. Hotel staff was very responsive. Cooking facility was very helpful.

I didn't like electricity failure. The hotel should have alternative arrangement as back up of electricity, may be a generator. Hotel could not provide a single pair of sandal for washroom. The electric sockets do not match with mobile port.

The location is very good, close to key services ie restaraunts. The host is always very helpful and keen to assist. Flexible check-in/out times.

All I needed for a hassle free stay was provided, like towels, soap, toilet paper etc. The shared kitchen was clean and had a homey feel. All needed appliances with utensils/cutlery/pots & pans are available should you wish to cook up a meal. Milk, coffee, tea and sugar were also provided for free. The room itself was very neat and everything smelled fresh. I had a beautiful view of 2 x different mountain tops with surrounded hotels. Building safety is a priority with different keys to access the building and eventually your own room. There are also in-built cameras installed across Scalabrini premises to ensure added security (not in your personal room though). The staff are all friendly and inviting, always ready to assist with a problem, if there be any. Personally I enjoyed my 4 x night stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is traveling or visiting Capetown CBD.

I recommend you to bring an extra blanket during winter.

Was a bit misleading as we were not aware there was a shared kitchen area which was also where the TV was located

The extractor fan was loud and made the bathroom very cold, shared amenities

The reception guy was really helpful ,he went above and beyond my expectations.Definitely coming back
