"It was a comfortable stay overall. I can prepare my own meals in the kitchen yet enjoy my privacy."

Makes it feel like I am just home with the shared kitchen but still having a private room. The place is quiet also and secure.

The lift that makes anyone scared to ride it because it is bumpy every time it starts or stops.

Lovely hostel accommodation, clean and use of kitchen was great. Fred was a great host, very informative. Cape Town is good for a few days, the train to Fishhoek was a great day out.

Spacious room and good facilities! Staff and host were very helpful with laundry, storing baggage and checking in/out. Located in central area.

The area didn’t feel super safe to me as a solo woman traveler especially after dark. Keep in mind they do not have a generator and the load sharing is quite bad in Cape Town right now. The power can be out for 8-12 hours a day so the elevator and lights won’t work during those hours. The accommodation is on an upper floor which can be a pain without an elevator.
