Very safe place and close to Lesotho, very kind people.

Equipment was exactly as we needed, clean, quiet. We had lovely dinner. The owner was very friendly, happy to help.

"A hidden gem, well worth a visit."

Victoria House is a hidden gem. There was not a single thing I did not like. Good location, clean modern room, good food and hosts. Exceptional value for money also. I will be back

We loved the homeliness and quirkiness of the Victoria House. Gavin was an amazing host, and dinner was an especially memorable event (good food, intimate space, lots of care). Also, it's like staying in a little oasis in Ficksburg. The dense garden is magical and it's easy to forget where you are.

We didn't not like anything about The Victoria House. I just wouldn't call Ficksburg the "best location."

Wonderful stay, clean facilities with very friendly staff. My dog Minka was welcomed with open arms, we both felt at home. Beautiful environment with very interesting decor. Peaceful and quiet.

We had such a lovely experience here the hosts were incredibly warm, welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. After a long drive up from Cape Town, the beds were super comfortable, exactly what we needed! The gardens are beautifully maintained and create such a peaceful atmosphere, and the décor of the rooms is just lovely , feels homely, and thoughtfully put together. We truly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Highly recommend.
