The Victoria House

Personality and passion by Gavin and Cal for this wonderful home. We were lucky to get an upgrade to the honeymoon suite which is beautifully furnished and so comfortable. Meals! A great dinner, delicious and beautifully served. There is attention to detail at every turn. In the morning, a full breakfast with yoghurt and frozen cherries finished with eggs to order, bacon and grilled tomato.. Our hosts made us feel so welcome, including Trigger, the magnificent lab cross rescue!

The room is nice, clean and most importantly spacious.

TV was not user friendly

The guest house was absolutely fantastic. The way there was special, but at the moment we were there it was mind blowing. The owner is absolutely friendly and the food was fantastic. The house and the garden, as well as the rooms were gorgeous and we really loved it.

This is a piece of heaven on earth. Fantastic hospitality, BEAUTIFUL room and property. The food was delicious. There’s a personal touch too, Gavin is a wonderful host. I just wish we could have stayed there longer. Dinner is available and it’s a VERY tasty meal!

The fact that I was only there for 2 nights!

We arrived at Victoria House on a busy evening, but Gavin took the time to welcome us and was very pleasant. The garden is beautiful and we made ourselves at home. The room was extremely comfortable, absolutely fabulous bed we slept very well. The following morning we had a great conversation with Gavin where he answered lots of our questions and shared his knowledge of the history of Victoria House, plant species in the garden and best routes to travel home. This was followed by a lovely breakfast in the beautiful dining area that exceeded our expectations. Thank you Victoria House.
