Perfect location to start the Batur volcano trek right from your doorstep. Beautifull gardens with an exceptional view of the mountains and surrounding jungle. Mankgu, our guide for the 1.5h trek to the edge of the caldera, was very patient with our slow speed and my bad knees and went into all the trouble to wait in line to get us breakfast from the single cantina when we arrived winded at the top (when the owner said that breakfast at the top was included we didn't know that it would have to be bought at the cantina, otherwise we would have simply brought some fruit with us).

The entire Kintamani lake area is full of flies that attack in muiltitudes any foor or drink you leave unattended and that will probably diminish any plans to enjoy breakfast or lunch in open spaces... The place only offers breakfast and the restaurant next door is more like a jungle haunted house - your best and safest bet for lunch is the The Cintamani Kitchen And Bar. The roof of the room was only attached at the corners, leaving a handspan of open space around the ceiling and the bathroom window had no glass or net, so you can expect critters inside. There was a blackout every time I plugged in a hairdryer, as the whole place had a single power switch that could not take on more than the existing light bulbs...

Lovely outlook from bungalow. Beautiful bathroom including hot shower which was heaven after completing Mt Batur hike. Able to start Mt Batur sunrise hike from the property. Guide (Chris) organised by the staff there was great. Helpful, attentive staff.

30 minute walk to restaurants however not a difficult walk. And there is the option to order food through the property

The location is very quiet and scary

Very good hotel position for the Batur trekking experience. Very quiet area.

No hairdryer

Very close to the start of the Gunung Batur trek. The host organised a guide for us and we could walk straight from the accomodation.

There were some problems with water leaking, but very quickly addressed the problem.

Really beattiful and well worth the price! The staff was extremly serviceminded and polite.

The bathroom had bad planning and ventilation. It never hot really dry, and when taking a shower, the toilet and all the floor got wet.

The location was quiet, it sat at the base of a hill with small but beautiful view of the lake. This place is beautiful and well maintained like the photos, which isn't the case with many places.The staff were always very attentive, helping with any of our needs like organising tours, campfire etc. The grounds were lush gardens, wonderfully maintained with plenty of room for kids to play. The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely.

I would have liked a pool, better fire area and kitchen. Also a minibar/ fridge in our room would have been helpful too. The flies are a big problem all over Kintamani and we really appreciated the nets in the bedrooms, but we would have liked somewhere to eat that offered a fly free space too.

Enough for 1 night's sleep, decent bed and the air-conditioning works.

Toilet unusable, so dirty that we didn't use it, fortunately because we had to get up from the toilet to grab the toilet paper, which was unheard of. Red flag on breakfast, banana pancake which turned out to be a hair pancake, nice wake-up call. Not to mention that the staff wanted scam us on the price of the scooter, Hotel to be avoided

The location is beautiful the view is great! The rooms are perfect for a getaway! The staff are friendly and helpful, and respectful. We loved every moment here
