The interior design was genuinely thoughtful—furniture and decorative elements were well-chosen, creating a visually pleasant space. The use of different scents in the bedroom and bathroom added a nice sensory touch. If you have a balcony, the views are quite beautiful and peaceful.

We were surprised to be asked to pay £40 for a room upgrade, despite it being our honeymoon and the room already available — something most places offer as a nice gesture. The welcome was not particularly warm, and the owner's attitude felt more transactional than hospitable. A simple request for a knife was met with reluctance and an unnecessary explanation about past guests. The room, while mostly clean, had cherry pits and stems left behind in an armchair side. The bed was uncomfortable, we didn’t sleep well, and there was no ventilation — only the option to open the window, which made the room cold, or sleep with stuffy air. Breakfast was served only at 9am, too late for early plans, and noise carried heavily from the corridor. Overall, it didn’t feel like a place run by someone who enjoys hosting.

The room lacked adequate soundproofing, and even minor noise from downstairs was clearly audible in the early morning. Additionally, the wooden flooring made the entire floor quite noisy, as footsteps could be heard frequently.

The breakfast was very good - lots of great options. Had a nice view of surroundings.

Rooms were somewhat cramped in space. Host was not always willing to help with a direct response - "look it up in the book", or "read the instructions" (which I had done so, but they obviously weren't very clear)

The facilities were amazing and the location was perfect, quiet and well away from the roads so no traffic. The property we stayed in was exceptional with a bath and shower in each room and the kitchen had every gadget you could think of needing.

Nothing comes to mind

The position, especially the bedrooms facing north to the loch. The breakfasts were very good. Our hostess was quick to deal with the minor issues that arose, and to provide advice..

There was nothing that I "didn't like". But , as I said to our hostess only half-jokingly, it is clearly designed for the Instagram generation. Plenty of photogenic features that meant nothing to me (Sparkle & Snack Station, Salt Station [8 jars with different salts], a fancy table in mid-lounge that was too far from sofas to be useful to anyone sitting down with a cup of tea, cups and cutlery whose handles were not 100% easy to grip, the kettle in the room was impossible to fill with the bathroom tap, etc). Nothing "wrong", just not my style ..........

Was so lovely to find a new property with extras, like the bath in our room. A beautiful view to the mountains and outdoors from the large windows. Comfortable large bed, great place to rejuvenate and relax.

Attention to detail and cleanliness is very high and the bed was incredibly comfortable

Due to our circumstance we only really slept over night so didn’t get a chance to appreciate the full experience this hotel clearly offers
