The facilities, high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The owner was also very nice and made us feel very welcome :) The location was in a quiet spot and was easy to find with plenty of parking

We stayed in one of the budget rooms. The door to the room seemed to let in quite a bit of noise. It was easy to hear what was happening downstairs.

Everything was comfy and spotless

The heat was unbearable even with a window open had to move fan beside bed, makes it very uncomfortable to sleep it’s very hot. Need to have some air con or something would not be able to sleep in that room again and loved the place.

Fabulous luxury b&b with optional breakfast and meal packages. Karen is a lovely host and will do her absolute best to give you everything you need for a memorable stay. We were fortunate that the location was in a dark skies area, and we had a clear night the milkyway was visible to see. In fact, I have never seen so many stars. Our room had a balcony with a view of the Loch, spa bath and a super comfy bed. I would definitely recommend a stay at Ardtorna

Nothing we loved it

The room was very spacious, with lovely floor to ceiling windows. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the bath was luxurious Spotlessly clean and the location is great, just 20 minutes outside Oban.

We didn't feel like we had a very warm welcome, maybe because we had a room only rate and not any of the additional food packages, so we weren't shown anything in the main lodge. The decor was a bit fussy for my taste, but that's personal taste. Personally I would like to see more emphasis on outside spaces and landscaping. We didn't have a coffee machine and fridge in the room as per the blurb.

The place was very clean and at a beautiful location. The house was really gorgeous. The host was very organised and had won many awards which was very impressive.

The place had limited access to the kitchen and did not accommodate any dietary restrictions or health concerns. For having paid the amount of money, a lot of things were still not available for use in the house requiring you to pay extra fees even to have chocolates. The host was also slightly rude and might I say racist as she didn’t allow us to heat our food because she assumed it would be “smelly”.

The property is about 15-20 minutes from the town of Oban where all the restaurants etc are. SO you do need a car / taxi. Karen has maintained the property very well and the location is peaceful and has a great view of the loch, We did not have any meals here so would not be able to comment on the same. Went to a place call The Barn (about 30 minutes away) which was great.

The pricing is a bit steep for a B&B.
