Good location and friendly staff but I didn't have a good experience sadly (although it's very cheap so that's understandable).

I contacted in advance to let them know I was arriving on a train at 23.30, but recieved no response, so it was no surprise when I turned up and it was locked and seemingly abandoned. I knocked, shouted, called on the phone and messaged, and eventually with the help of a local, someone came out 15 minutes later. She was apologetic and kind, (clearly I had just woken her up so I felt bad), but equally it could have been avoided if they checked the booking.com messages. Unfortunately the room and bathroom were not well ventilated so had a strong damp mouldy smell, and the bed had many hairs on it. The ladies I saw during checkout the next morning was also quite smiley and friendly. So I hope maybe my experience was an odd one out. That being said I wouldn't stay again.

Really nice owner, who help us arrange Kawah Ijen tour with great guide and whole tour was great. She also can provide medical check, so it was really comfortable and easy! We really recommend stay here and go for the tour. Family also runs small warung here and food was really good.

In the room for 4 people isn’t AC, but it was our mistake that we didn’t check it before. In the room for 2 there is AC. A lots of mosquitos around.

once in a while you come to a place that charges you right up. lovely people, tasty food and convenient location. terima kasih ☺️

The ladies in the house could be more mindful about the noise from 6 am 😁

Cosy room with a fan

Was a bit noisy in the morning as it was attached to a popular Warung. Not the end of the world, but it should be noted

Very kind and helpful staff, washing machine, private bathroom (soap and toilet paper included), located infront of the train station.

Openings above the windows were without a net so there was quite a lot of insects inside. Above our room was a terrace and in the first morning the kids of owners were quite loud since 06:40 in the means of throwing something (sounded like a medicimball) on the ground for a few hours. Next morning it was OK.
