Clematis House is a warm and inviting home with friendly hosts. The breakfast was exceptional. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well which is unusual when we are away from home.

The hot water on both mornings in the bathroom was lukewarm and the shower poor. We used the bath which we prefer and used a couple of kettles to warm it up.

Karen was so welcoming and accommodating. Lovely clean, warm and comfortable bedrooms. We had a wonderful nights sleep. Lots of special little touches like bottled water, good selection of teas and chocolate. Location was fantastic as well as the breakfasts.

Good position not far from centre of town

A friendly and helpful host and a building full of charm and quirks. The grand garden space at the back is gorgeous. I saw it in the winter but I can't imagine how much more lovely it would be in the summer. The host was very helpful with advice on where to go and directions. Parking was easy, on the driveway where there is space for several cars.
