Disclaimer: I stayed in one of the two cabins in the garden rather than the house itself. The owner was away when I was there hence I can't comment on either her, her abilities to cook breakfast, the breakfast selection itself nor offer a independent review of her dog whom I've noticed features quite heavily in reviews of this property as he was also away. I needed a cheap and cheerful crash pad for the night - this £50 listing was ideal. A small ensuite cabin designed in a Moroccan style with a double bed and tea + coffee making facilities. Located a 15 minute walk from the train station / 10 minutes to the town centre. The owner had kindly left the small heater on so the place was nice and toasty when I arrived late on a flipping cold Christmas eve night.

The TV channels were limited. The room was dark.

Nice clean, quaint little room. Karen was helpful and attentive.

Have stayed here before, so knew it was going to be nice! . Location is great, a 20 min walk from the railway station. .easy to find. .The welcome was very friendly and my room was great for my stay. Big bed, window that opens, towels nice quality. .2 bathrooms right next to my room. .the breakfast was exceptional! Lots of lovely choices! Eggs cooked perfectly! Very tasty and catered for my gluten free bread!thank you! . Had a peaceful sleep, well rested. .

Bathroom was abit cold in the morning. . . Not a dog lover! but he wasnt a problem to me. .

Great location and exactly what I needed for the night. Excellent breakfast.
