V.I.P. House

No wifi in my room.Very depressing atmosphere.Noisy old Ac.General feeling of neglect.Not particularly friendly reception.

Quick and easy. 1 night stay. Good location.

To be honest our stay in the hotel was going very good until we discovered we had bed bugs in the room because they started biting us after a few days staying here. We checked the mattress and it was full of them. Not gonna lie, the service of the hotel and the rooms were very good (except the wifi, it doesn’t work), but they need to fix the issue with the bedbugs. When we asked for a refund of the nights remaining in our stay they refused, they wanted to give us another room but we didn’t trust nor wanted to risk it anymore as the same beddings are being used for all the different rooms and the bedbugs can be anywhere, specially as these bugs don’t die even when washing. You can’t exterminate bedbugs and their eggs with a simple wash, so they definitely have a huge problem!! The owner kept repeating that they never had a problem like that but if you look on the google reviews there are multiple reviews saying the same (our mistake for not checking them as we checked only on agoda, but agoda reviews are not completely lawful). Also we catch some of the bugs and put them in a plastig bag for her to see but she didn’t want to take accountability. Avoid this place unless you are willing to test your luck and check your mattress to see if it’s alright 😀

Me and my partner booked a room (301) at this hotel for a week. In the beginning it was all good and we even extended our stay for one more week but one morning we woke up full of bites on our bodies. After a detailed look of the mattress we found bed bugs (they were still running around happily with our blood in their bellies) and nests in the corners of the mattress. We packed our stuff and left immediately obviously. On the check out process the owner denied that they have encountered any similar issues in the past (if you read previous reviews you will see by yourselves that this is not true, our mistake for not reading them before our stay) and also denied to refund for the remaining days that we had on our booking stating that this has never happened before and the amount that has been already paid cannot be refunded. The location is superb and the services that they provide are also convenient like rent a small bike for 200bht or the bus service to Pai, but the issue with the bedbugs ruined the whole experience.

It was nice and clean with a nice, quiet airconditioning! Staff was very helpfull as well.

The room was a bit noisy at night but I think this may be the case in most places in Bangkok. You coukd hear the traffic very well.

In internet there are a lot of bad reviews, and I was shocked little bit after booking... But when I stay there I think: Everything okay 👍 Okay, the ceiling should be painted new, because there have been many water stains from water damage - but the location is really good, the small café/ restaurant nice, the staff very friendly, and a problem with the hot water was solved immediately... So how much more comfort would you expect for so little money please? Thank you to V.I.P. House, kob khun krap 🙏,
