The homemade bread was the great speciality and together with the omelette and the filter coffee a first class breakfast. The daily housekeeper always with positive remarks made the room with clean sheets and pillows every day

Definitely a unique place, full of character and interest. Our hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful in organising our trips, printing our onward train tickets, cooking super breakfasts (with home made bread) or part packing a breakfast if we had a very early start etc etc. Their 'boss', a large black dog, may look ferocious but it is absolutely not! The facilities may not be up-to-date or ultra modern but it all works!! Peaceful location within easy walking distance to the town and cafes.

The lovely owners, staff & the location are great. Breakfast was awesome, homemade bread! Good chill place. I stayed an extra night.

My only thing was I needed extra bed cushions as I like a soft bed for my shoulders! Sorted that out right away!

The property is very homey and the people are super friendly and caring! I was unfortunately very sick while I was here and they looked after me better than I could have asked for. Wish I would have been able to stay longer and explore more around the area
