Baitong Homestay

Baiton Homestay is a very exceptional lodging. It is outside the main city area but well withing a walking distance. It is peaceful and quiet. It is very clean. The owners are very nice and gentle people and speak good English. The brakfast is good - it is western style. The beds are comfortable, air con works well. There is hot water. It is very homely and pleasant to stay in. There is a nice temple nearby where chanting happens at 6pm. Mar's kitchen restaurant is just around the corner and it is good. Recommend!

A rating of 9.3 for any business in the hospitality/accommodation sector is indeed very impressive. In the case of Baitong Homestay, I believe such a high score is fully warranted. Manfred, Narumol and their staff (Nai), provide a clean, comfortable accommodation in the HaiYa district of Chiang Mai. Having garnered significant acclaim as restauranteurs, the breakfast is simply outstanding. The Western breakfast was delicious, but once I tried the traditional Thai breakfast soup, I was hooked.

Aside from having to leave the peace and serenity of enjoying my morning coffee on the second floor terrace underneath the Bougainvillea plant, to return to the snow and ice of a cold Canadian winter (aughhh), I cannot think of anything at Baithong Homestay that I didn't like. They provide a level of service that deserves recognition.

All over a wonderful experience. It felt like home for the week I spent there. In every way my needs were very well accommodated. I felt safe and taken care of by the wonderful hosts in an authentic lovely house. Special thanks to Nai, who was the hostess of the mostest. Breakfast and program organizing were great, and always with a smile and friendly manner. Lots to thank for. Hope to return.

I had an amazing stay at **Baitong Homestay** in Chiang Mai! This charming, family-run accommodation is managed by a friendly German-Thai couple who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The rooms are simple but spotlessly clean, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast is delicious and fresh, offering a great start to the day. The host makes his own bread - so Germans (and others) will love it. What makes this place truly special is the warm, welcoming atmosphere—you quickly become part of the family. Many long-term guests stay here, and it's easy to see why. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a homely, relaxed environment in Chiang Mai!
