It was just a few minutes' walk to Auschwitz.

When i was booking this accommodation for one night it was so that we would arrive at Auschwitz on time as our tour was at 08.30am. I contacted the manager, and I asked about booking breakfast in the morning before heading to Auschwitz. I was told I could choose a traditional Polish breakfast or a buffet breakfast, i asked for a buffet breakfast. I also asked if they could cater for us at 07.15am so we didn't have to rush to eat and go to Auschwitz. I was told they would cater to suit our needs. We arrived at this Airbnb at 20.00pm, and the place was in darkness apart from the B&M guesthouse sign outside. We pressed the buzzer a few times before we got an answer. I informed the woman on the intercom that we had a reservation. She then came to the door to open it to let us in. We followed her to the reception area and she went onto her computer to book us in. Whatever she read on the booking, she obviously wasn't expecting. She went onto the phone and spoke to a male. It was quite a long conversation, and we dont speak Polish, so we had no idea what the problem was. She informed us there was a bakery just across the road, and everything was made fresh. She then advised us to go to the bakery for something to eat in the morning. I asked her why I would need to go to a bakery when I had booked breakfast at the Airbnb. She informed me that it was not worth her while to make breakfast for two, as that would be expensive. I asked her if she only had us booked in, and she said yes. On entering the room, it was cold, the window was open, and there was no heating on. She closed the window and showed us a remote control to work the air conditioning unit to heat the room. The room had a kettle and two cups, I asked if she had tea or coffee to go with the kettle and cups ? She said she could give us tea bags as coffee was expensive. I said that would be fine, thank you.

The room was very comfortable, clean, and accessible. Perfect for staying more than one day or relaxing in the room.
