Location, comfortable and very kind and friendly staff.

Only little thing, some toiletries (soap) were missing in our bathroom.

Beautiful apartment just off the village square - finished to a high standard, really well furnished with an exceptionally comfortable bed (Coco-Mat I think), lovely toiletries - it all feels very high end. Little terrace outside to sit and watch the world go by. Makrinistra is a very pretty village 15 minutes above Volos - you park at the entrance to the village and the Guesthouse an easy 5 minute walk. The village gets busy with day-trippers but is lovely in the morning and evening. A simple breakfast is served on the terrace of the guesthouse just above the apartment, there was just one restaurant open in village in the evening - Kardamo which was excellent.

Because of the proximity to the village square it’s quite noisy during the day and as it’s a Greek village there are the inevitable barking dogs at night - bring earplugs, we’d definitely stay again

The location is fantastic in a corner of heaven. Located in center Makrinitsa, a mountain village overlooking Volos and the sea, the view is spectacular. Around there are trees as old as the world itself.... The hosts are amazing people, I loved the room and the breakfast is very good 😊. We were three people and a border collie and I will definitely come back again ❤️.
