The LaWang Yogya Guesthouse

The family who runs the guesthouse are so kind and helpful. The room looks recently renovated and has everything you need. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in in Asia.

It is noisy as other reviewers have said, but I slept really well with ear plugs. (I think it's hard to find a good budget accommodation close to the city center that isn't noisy in Yogya. )

The place is safe and secure. They were able to look after and keep our bikes. So nice and friendly hosts and were there 24/7. Room was small with just a bed and nice bathroom. Nice outdoors seating. Thank you so much

Maybe that the room was a bit small but then it was cheap

Not too far from either train station - within walking distance of the main walking street and major sites of interest. Quiet at night, but we were able to order a taxi easily at 5am to get to the airport. Host was kind, always provided us new water bottles each day and gave us some advice for tours we could take when we first arrived.

Not the most comfortable mattresses. The lower bed is on wheels (so it can slide under the other mattress during the day), but there is no way to stop it from moving around as you sleep.

the bed is a little bit to small for 2 people, you can make it bigger but you can’t sleep toogether and there is only one coverlet without sheet its quiet laud from the street and also early in the morning around 5 pm the voice from the mosque is laud and wakes you up

It was 30 minutes from marlioboro Street walking distance . So not convenient. Really hard to find as there are no signs. Gotten eaten alive by ants and mosquitoes while sleeping. Twin bed means someone is sleeping on the floor. Aircon didn't work at all. Room is not cleaned everyday. Can hear the traffic outside. Not allowed to use toilet paper and it is not provided either.
