Very nice traditional house with very kind owner.

It was very peaceful! The house is beautiful and the bath is delightful after a long day of sightseeing. It is in the countryside and Shin-san is a lovely host ~ if you are doing a stopover in Ichinoseki or on your way to Sendai i would highly recommend. The rooms come with a lock on the outside as well as the inside.

Amenities were good. I especially love the hot tub.

Frequency of public transport was quite low. Had to plan the day well to make it back in time without waiting.

Amazing experience! This place is simply stunning, super comfortable, and gives a real insight into Japanese culture and way of life!

Absolutely friendly owner. A surprisingly relaxing place, which I would recommend to those on a budget. Very accessible with a car, it seems a bus also stops near-by. Live the classical Japanese tatami/futon experience there!

Nothing in particular, would not recommend if you are noisy since most walls are made of paper (americans should not go there ;)).

Cozy place in rural area 1 station away from Ichinoseki town. Everything was excellent! Even the bath - there was already the tub with hot water to relax in. Also enjoyed the breakfast Futons are comfortable and warm so we could sleep without the heater in the mid November
