Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos

We had an amazing stay at Quinta Pedreira dos Anjos that is a big highlight of our trip to Portugal this fall. We were received amazingly by the hosts and the room has everything you might need for a couple of nights. Communication with the host was easy. We highly recommend the breakfast, it was one of (or the best) breakfast we had during our trip, everything was homemade the same morning. The view from the Quinta is amazing and the hosts are even better, we highly recommend!

The point has nothing to do with the Quinta, but we would recommend arriving during the day as the roads are really narrow in some places and have lots of curves.

The hosts were amazing. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyinging ourselves. Her breakfasts are delicious. Make sure you go with a big appetite! And the pool was very refreshing. I truly cannot think of one negative thing to say. (Except my husband would say the bed was too hard.) I would gladly return. If I could give 6 stars, I would. The photos don't do this lovely place justice.

Amazing location. Very friendly staff. Great value.  Ridiculously amazing view.  Homemade delicious breakfast. 

Very close proximity to other rooms.  Breakfast was unexpectedly expensive compared to the room. 

Extremely hospitable host generously sharing own locally made wine. Spectacular views. Spotless pool. Kind generous hostess provided amazing breakfast for reasonable price. Outstanding location

Google maps sent us on a tortuous route but stick to main road and all will be well!

The hosts are really great. The breakfast is perfect, and the view is astonishing.

The rooms are basic.

This is an amazing and unique property with a patio that overlooks the hosts vineyard down into the Douro valley. The hosts were wonderful and welcomed us with a taste of their own port and wine and the breakfast (extra) was exceptional. The rooms are small but super clean and there is a small pool. We enjoyed sipping wine as the sun set over the ridge of the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

The location was very beautiful. The host was very kind and also gave us a tour of his own vineyard. There was wine in every room which was for free. All over would recommend the place to everyone who is travelling for a great experience overseeing Duoro Valley.

We wanted quite and romantic place, out of the city place but close enough to drive by car. This place is located 20-25 minutes from the Sabrosa/Pinhao. The stay was amazing! The room was spacious enough and we had a big window facing the valley. The sunset and the morning views are incredible there. And because of the isolated location it so quite there. Except the room there is also a place outside in the property to sit and enjoy the wine and the views. The host gave us a taste of their own wine and port and we also asked for the breakfast (additional price). Wow, you definitely must have it! Aurora made us a wonderful breakfast. Everything on the table came from their own garden. And the view from the balcony (where we ate) is amazing.

We couldn't connect to wifi but because we drove there by car we had our own internet. And to be honest, today you can get eSim for 10-20$ w/ enough GB. Mosquito net on windows. Although my partner wanted the window to stay close, I like opening the windows to let cold fresh air to get inside. In periods of mosquitos I would suggest adding a removable mosquito net on windows
