Ferryman Studio Apartments

Apartment with nice art deco furniture, comfortable bed. It was a well located apartment building and we had a lovely stay.

There was some noise in the middle of the night. Some people (other guests I presume?) was walking and talking through the corridors and someone tried to open my door. Luckily my lock was closed but anyway I felt a bit unsecure for a moment until the people was gone. However, nothing to do with the property. Otherwise than this unfortunate incident the stay was great and the appartment was cosy and nice.

Clean and comfortable, easy check in. Great location. Would thoroughly recommend.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like as it ticked all requirements.

The apartment is ideal for a visit to Southsea. Perfect location for Albert Road nightlife and excellent places to eat. The room was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom/wet room clean and well maintained.

That the main front door was constantly unlocked. Towel rail was never warm.

A well appointed studio apartment in a "vibrant" location from which to explore and discover the real Southsea and Portsmouth.

There's nothing not to like. The only glitch for me was an initial minor issue with the hob/oven/microwave which was resolved.

The location is quite central and very convenient in terms of transportation. There are plenty of bars, cafés, and markets nearby, and Albert Road—the main street—is an easy 10–15 minute walk. The room was generally well-equipped and comfortable. Having cooking facilities, a balcony, a mini fridge, and a dryer was excellent and made the stay much more enjoyable.

On the downside, the bed was slightly uneven in the middle, which affected comfort a bit. The carpet was reasonably clean, but it’s not the most practical surface to use. I also expected to find slippers in the room, but I was informed that this is not part of their standard service.
