Die Gastgeber Roland und Richard machen das Toto Retreat zum idealen Punkt für Ausflüge entlang der Garden Route, wir haben uns sofort Zuhause gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre vor Ort ist absolut einzigartig, wir haben viele spannende Personen getroffen aber hatten auch die Möglichkeit, Ruhe zu finden. Für Pärchen ist die Unterkunft genauso geeignet wie für Familie. Exzellent ist auch das Team vor Ort. Super Frühstück und coole Ausflugsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke. 10/10 - ohne Zweifel

Intentionality of sourcing local fruits from the market. The poached eggs were top notch as well as the local baked sourdough bread not to forget the muffins and porridge. A wonderful variety to choose from.

Everything about In Toto Retreat is truly great! Especially Roland the owner, who is very kind, attentive, and prepares the best breakfast! The location of the guesthouse is stunning, right at the beach, in walking distance to the popular Sedgefield Community Farmers' Market, and close to a Superspar. The apartment is also very spacious and has everything that we needed!

Nothing major but unfortunately there was still some rubbish left from previous guests in the kitchen and bathroom. We were allowed to check-in early, so maybe that was the reason why it was forgotten to remove. Otherwise the apartment was spotless!

We had a lovely stay at In Toto Retreat. The room was beautiful, very spacious with a great balcony with views across the lake. Very well equipped and peaceful location. It was nice to walk around the area and the lakeside. Unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough for the pool but the pool area looked very nice. We had a great evening nearby at the Wednesday evening food market recommended by Roland the host. The locals were very friendly. Roland was a great host and breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Enjoyed a trip to nearby Knysna Heads. Thank you for a great stay.
