"Old Duch times in South Africa"

Very nice garden and details inside the cottage remind old Dutch times.

"Excellent location"

We received a very warm welcome from Richard (and Daniel, the dog). He was very helpful in finding us a taxi for a day trip around the beautiful area.( We used SAXI which was brilliant). The room was up some wooden steps, but Richard helped us with our luggage. The bed was comfortable and the shower was excellent. It took us only a couple of minutes to walk to cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. We felt safe walking there at night . Cypress Cottage is a lovely old house. I chose it for its character, and I was not disappointed.

"Super cool."

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Not sure where they get the body wash....amazing. We on a business trip and drove more than 40KM back to the guest house, just to stay a few more days

"Zeer gastvrij, vriendelijk en heerlijk authentiek"

Geweldig mooi koloniaal huis met veel sfeer, comfortabel bed en kamer. Super vriendelijk vooral toen de storm een boom naast het huis viel en de stroom uitviel waren ze heel behulpzaam. Zeker een aanrader om terug te komen!

"heel aangenaam verblijf, een rustpunt tijdens onze trip"

ontbijt was verzorgd en mooi zicht op de tuin .Het zwembad zag er uitnodigend uit, jammergenoeg was het weer niet goed, dus hebben we het niet kunnen testen. De gastheer was heel behulpzaam ook met tips om onze verdere reis aan te vatten. Een echte meerwaarde!

De kamers zijn redelijk gehorig.
