Casa Ixchel - 700m to Downtown, WiFi, Hot Water, AC

Location - walking distance from the city center and cenotes

Shower - worked poorly Cleaning - the room was clean when I arrived, but there was no cleaning for 3 days (not even the bathroom trash was taken out) Value for money - some hotels in Valladolid have similar price and have room service

Clean room. Wifi is good. 10 mins walk to centre

The property was in a convenient location, close to the central square of the city and minutes away from OXXO and Six. There's also a large supermarket about 15 minutes walk away and a good laundrette around the corner. The room itself is clean, spacious with A/C, large comfortable bed, strong wifi and ensuite. There is also a shared kitchen which is well-equipped to make simple meals and a living/dining area. The owner doesn't live onsite but he made the check-in process easy and straight-forward, was very responsive and helpful. Overall we thought it was great value for the area and had a great stay!

Not much - there were some ants in the bathroom ensuite on our first night but the owner was extremely apologetic and responsive, resolving this issue in the room as quickly as possible.

I liked everything about the property! Many have commented on the bathroom size, however if you are going just for a shower and not anything else it’s just okay 😅 clean property, wifi is strong, the guy at the property - Manolo is the best. He will suggest some places to eat and go around (take that serious) cause the recommendations where simply amazing. Bed is hugeeee and comfortable. Water is hot. The walk to centro must be 10/14 mins.. Also, they have a full fledge kitchen.

A little out of town away from the main crowds, but close enough to walk everywhere within 10-15 minutes. Manolo communicated very well. The shared space was a great asset.

There was a dog nearby that barked non-stop all night!!

Best place to be awarded as The Worst Hostel in my entire life. Kitchen has zero cleanliness and smells really bad. The mattress had a "valley" in the middle, the head of the shower was so dirty that no water was running, basically you have to unscrew it to have a decent shower. The argument "cheap" doesnt work in this situation, paid the same price for a shared room in Cancun and the experience was completely the opposite. Booked two nights only stayed 1.

The bed is big, the water was hot. It is possible to use the kitchen and the fridge. The place was clean and checkin instructions were very good.

It is a bit far away from the center but good restaurants around. Very noisy from the street. It is not very cosy maybe a bed side lamp would be nice because there is only neon lights.

The bed was comfortable and the ac worked great.

Unfortunately in our room the noise from the street was so loud it kept us from sleeping both nights.

Perfect location. The room is spacious and clean. The host is very responsive and helpful.
