Location was great for this site of the city. Room was good, there was a hot shower :D.

The breakfast was not good. They had banana tosti?! Also the bathroom smelled a bit strange

The highlight of this place are the people who work there. All the girls and guys at the reception are kind, smiling and ready to help with anything you ask (I needed to visit a dentist for a broken tooth when I was there...). They speak good English. The second highlight is the garden, with beautiful plants and cozy seating, and a pool if you want to cool down. Breakfast is not included with the dorm bed, it's Rp 35k (sweet toast or omellette), included if you book a private room. If you are leaving early like we did for Borobudur, they will get up at 5am to make you a fresh breakfast to take with you. Coffee and tea is available the whole day, as well as water refill. The shower has warm water. There are also kitchen utensils, plates/cups if you want to prepare your own food. Book early, it is a popular place. I wanted to extend and they were booked, had to find another place nearby for my last night in Jogja. But the reception girls told me I can still come by to hang out in the garden, which I did! Great place.

The internet never worked for me in the dorm, only in the garden near the kitchen.

The hostel is a little haven of peace, with a lovely pool and cosy chill area. Best hosts ever. The hosts were adorable with me - I was feeling a bit sick and they very kindly prepared me tea and food, and helped solve an issue with our room very promptly. They also took loads of time to help us organise the next parts of our trip and helped us to top up our sim cards with internet by translating the Indonesian telecom website for us and calling the call Center. Best place to stay in Yogya!!

Staff was amazing and so helpful! Trips can be organized with the travel agency (ViaVia Travel) which went always smooth and fair in pricing. It‘s the perfect place to meet new people and experience authentic local atmosphere. Thank you Iswe and the whole team for making this stay unforgettable!
