View from room lovely. Easy access, good parking. Prompt response from host. Nearby excellent cafe suitable for breakfast and nearby pub for evening meals, both within walking distance (care, pub closed Sunday evening, albeit others open further afield). Comfortable bed.

Some facilities were dated/ in need of repair or renewal (e.g. bathroom sink, toilet seat, wooden railing outside) albeit this did not affect our stay.

Location great. The kettle in our room wasn't working and staff were friendly and instantly helpful in replacing it.

The kitchen facilities were very limited - a small cooker and a few more utensils would be helpful- cafetiere for example.
