Jamrock Secret Retreat

Jamrock is less than 9 mins drive from airport but sounds of planes rarely disturb the tranquility of JamRock. So peaceful and quiet with a beautiful sea view and only sounds heard are the waves outside bedroom window. Wake up in the night and even the insects have gone to sleep. The facilities were good. I had the lounge, sun terrace and kitchenette to myself. Clean room , fast internet and very comfy bed. My host Bev was so friendly and made me feel at home. She was informative on local places to eat. Snappaz , lovely fish restaurant which is about 8 minutes walk from Jamrock. Food is lovely and staff very friendly. If you want to stop over after landing and need to freshen up before moving on to your next destination , Jamrock is a place that I would recommend and one that I will be coming back to.

Remember to bring your toiletries and towel . Also plus tea, coffee and sugar and there is no microwave .Other than that everything else was perfect.

What's not to like

Love the little private beach and all the patio areas to sit outside and relax with a beautiful ocean view.

The property was neat; the location was hard to find unless you from Montego Bay; there was no roadside marker or address.

The owner was rude about the check-in process and having a late check-in or plans.

This is an absolutely stunning property. Great location and breathtaking views.

Right on the beachfront with access sttaightfrom your room which was spacious, lovely and clean. Host Ms Beverley was a delight! Would definitely stay again :)

Was tricky to find due to my own mistake of not reading the directions thoroughly but when I called the contact number for help a male answered who was quiet abrupt, told me I should have read everything properly and stated that seens as I hadnt read properly I wouldn’t no that they didn’t have air con…which wasn’t a bother too me as they have a large fan but his mannerisms may put some costumers off.

The ocean is very beautiful 😍 and the hoist is very lovely as well 😊 also the room is very spacious

Didn't like that my mini vacation ended so soon 😩 Could do with a AC in the room

The hospitality, the clean place itself, the views, the quietness & solitude, and the nearby eateries.

Lack of air-conditioning, brutal. Fans at nite for sleep were not enough. The heat was worse than the noisy airport nearby.
