Lagoon Inn

Quiet, spacious shady balcony outside the rooms and a lookout platform that is great for birdwatching and sunsets. Hosts welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable, especially on the birdlife having worked as a guide at Bundala National Park. The accommodation which included air conditioning was great too. The location is ideal being within walking distance to Bundala National Park. The safari they organised was fantastic (they own the jeep) were a good price and professional. .

Right next to the national park. Hotel can arrange tours. Very nice and helpful owner. Good meals. Clean room. Good value for money.

Our stay in the Lagoon Inn was wonderful. The Reviews telling about the great hospitality and the good (local) food are right. (Even our kids enjoyed it!). Both are found here at the Lagoon inn. The rooms were clean, cool and well maintained. And the location is stunning. Furthermore we were very pleased with the Safari that we booked here at the Lagoon inn. We recommend this Safari to all who come to Bundala. (https://bundala-national-park-safari-kamal.business.site/) We saw crocodiles, spotted deer, lizards, goanna, monkeys, waterbuffelo and many birds, (pelicans, hunting eagles, nest with young fish Eagle, painted Stork, Blue tailed bee eater, Kingfisher, etc...)

Very quiet and cozy place with a beautiful garden full of birds and monkeys. The rooms are clean, spacious, have everything you need - air conditioning, fan, mosquito net. There is not warm water, but during the day the sun heats it up in the tank and it is getting even hot, very nice. There is a large balcony with tables and a beautiful view, it is very pleasant to sit there and watch the surroundings and sunsets. There is a bird watching tower next to the house, from where you can see the national park. We were spending hours there with our spyglass. Very hospitable hotel owner, he helped us with everything and organized a wonderful safari to Bundala national park. Breakfasts and dinners are delicious and plentiful and for a very good price. Not far from the hotel there are lakes with a lot of water birds. The place is a birdwatching paradise. We had the great pleasure of spending 4 days here enjoying and relaxing.

Really close to Bundala national park so it's a perfect place to stay for the night before early visit. The owner showed as at night bufalo heard which was amazing. Good for one night stand before national park tour. Breakfast was really good :)

Nice and cool room. Friendly and helpful owner. The best is definitely the view from the terrace and the rooftop platform into the Bundala national park and watching the many birds in the garden. The owner organized at Safari in for us which was fantastic.
