Tegal Besung Cottage

Very nice place, well located, clean and comfortable. The manager who works there is extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend!

We stayed twice at long in the end, room was looking very new and clean. Shower gel and shampoo smelled really nice. The place looks nice, no boring white walls, but beautiful painted. The rooms are nice and quiet, you do hear cows and chickens but it didn’t bother us (you don’t hear any mosque). We rented a motorbike. It’s very close to Amarta where you can have a swim and food. A lot of little restaurants around. The owner gave us good advise to go to Gamat bay for snorkling. Definitely worth more money!

Clothing outside is difficult to dry in wet season, but this will be everywhere

Very kind staff. Great that you get your own cottage and place was very clean. The shower was very nice and the bathroom is spacious. You get lots of privacy. Would come back because we loved the kind staff!

The pillows were big hard and uncomfortable. At night and all morning there are very very loud roosters that crow and make it impossible to sleep. Most nights we got very little sleep because of it and it’s too bad because I don’t think there’s much the owners can do about this issue. We aren’t usually sensitive to noise we’ve slept in numerous hostels the roosters were genuinely just so loud even with headphones. Maybe we just got unlucky the days we went. I think it’s worth giving the property a chance because everything else was good. I think it’d be helpful if the property gave out earplugs to guests to help the issue!

Staff friendly, comfort bed, location

really memorable little spot to use as a base for exploring Nusa Penida. a little bit out of town though so highly recommend renting bikes for the days you are there so you can come and go with ease.

The hosts were friendly and helpful and gave great advice on what locations to visit and at what time. The room was spacious and clean, the aircon worked well, the wifi was fast and the location of the place was great.

Great location for Nusa Penida! You can rent a scooter at the location. 5 minutes drive to shops and restaurants. Close to club Amarta, for a beautiful sunset. Very nice room with good bed and air conditioning. I would like to thank Desak from the location for the nice conversations, recommendations and for gave me a ride to the harbor!
